Building and Zoning

11-30-2016 009
If you have a residential or commercial building project planned, the Building and Zoning department can help you get the correct permit. Before a building permit can be issued, those seeking permits must submit a copy of the building plans for review.

Building and Zoning has a planning checklist to make sure the plans are in compliance that must be included with building plans. This checklist can be found HERE. The review process typically takes no longer than one week, once everything is submitted.

For new residential and commercial buildings, water and sewer connections will need to be purchased. Water and sewer rates can be found HERE.
