Bald Eagle Viewing

Saturday, February 2, 2019

This year, we're watching and celebrating bald eagles throughout Utah during the month of February. This is an excellent time to view eagles as they begin to choose their nesting sites, and lay their eggs. Join us for this free viewing opportunity at the Basin's own Ouray National Wildlife Refuge. Division personnel will be there to answer your questions and help you spot bald eagles near the refuge. There will opportunities to scout for eagles and look for other wildlife — like porcupines — along the refuges auto tours. We'll have some spotting scopes and binoculars on-site, but you should bring your own binoculars if available. Free 2019 bald eagle pins will be available while supplies last. See you there! Registration for this event is not mandatory and tickets are not required, but we're asking that you please fill out the registration form so we can make improvements to future events: http://bit.ly/ne_eagleday
