Ground Transportation
Federal Highway 40 enters right through the heart of Roosevelt. State Highways 35, 87, and 121 connect the surrounding areas for ease and accessability. Roosevelt City is approximatley 150 miles east of Salt Lake City, UT. Most every commodity item is transported in and out by semi-trucks. There are approximatley 8,000 to 9,000 vehicles per day that travel through Roosevelt on Highway 40.
Air Transportation
The Roosevelt Municipal Airport has one runway that is 6,500 feet in lenth, which is adequate for most small to medium sized business aifcraft. It is both paved and lighted. The airport has both instrument and visual approach equipment. It is also equipped with a Unicom Advisory Station. Jet Fuel and standard Avation Fuel are available seven days a week.
