As a City Council-appointed position, the City Recorder is responsible for the preparation, execution, and archiving all City Council documents as prescribed by State law and City Code. These duties include:
♦ City Council documents, official proceedings, ordinances, and
resolutions
♦ Board and commission applications and appointments
♦ City Council meetings
♦ City Council election materials
♦ Oaths of the Office for City Council and Commission members
♦ Publication of legal notices
♦ Recording of official documents
♦ Subdivision and project files
