About

Roosevelt Fire and Rescue was established in 1916 and has continued the proud tradition for more than 100 years. The volunteer firemen all live within Roosevelt city limits and are dedicated to serving the people in their community. This means not only fighting fires but also keeping up to date with the latest fire equipment and techniques to keep everyone safer.

The Roosevelt Fire Department conducts investigations into all fires within Roosevelt city limits and surrounding areas. With each call, these highly trained volunteers work to determine the origin, cause and circumstances surrounding the fire.

Visiting the fire station can be a treat, especially for children. If you are interested in touring the fire station, please contact Fire Chief Lee Rockwood at 435-722-2754.
