Notice is hereby given that the Roosevelt Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing in connection with their regular meeting on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., at the Roosevelt City Administration Building, 255 South State Street, Roosevelt, Utah. The commission will receive public comment regarding the following item(s):

 

  • Athenian Academy Conditional Use at 100 West 400 North in Roosevelt

NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY BY THE ROOSEVELT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Notice is hereby given that the Roosevelt Police Department will be disposing of thirteen bicycles that have remained unclaimed for three months or more, after attempting to determine and notify the owners.

 

If you believe one of the bicycles may be yours, please contact the Roosevelt Police Department at (435) 722-2330 to claim it before final disposition on June 27, 2022.

Notice is hereby given that the Roosevelt City Council will hold a Public Hearing in connection with their regular meeting on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., at the Roosevelt City Administration Building, 255 South State Street, Roosevelt, Utah. The City Council will receive public comment regarding the following item(s):

 

  • CIB Application: Sports Complex
  • CIB Application: State Street Project
  • Fiscal Year 2023 Proposed Budget

Notice of Public Hearing for Rezone of Property Located at 700 S 150 W in Roosevelt 

Notice is hereby given that the Roosevelt Planning and Zoning Commission will be conducting a public hearing to receive specific comments on rezoning tax parcel 00-0002-3618, located at approximately 700 S 150 W in Roosevelt. The proposed rezone would change the zone of the property in question from RM-18 to Commercial.

Notice is hereby given that the Roosevelt City Council will be conducting a public hearing to receive specific comments on rezoning of the High Bench Estate Subdivision, located at approximately 2850 S. State Street in Roosevelt. The parcel number of the properties in question are: 00-0028-4574, 00-0028-4582, 00-0028-4590, 00-0035-1766, 00-0035-1768, and 00-0035-1767. The proposed rezone would change the zone from R-1-6 to R-R-1.

Notice is hereby given that the Roosevelt City Council will be conducting a public hearing to receive specific comments on Resolution 2021-307, the consolidated fee schedule that sets all fees for Roosevelt City departments and services.

Notice is hereby given that Roosevelt City is seeking to fill one vacant City Council Member position. This vacancy will be filled at the regularly scheduled Council Meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Roosevelt City Offices, located at 255 S. State Street. Interviews will be held publicly at this meeting.

Residents of Roosevelt City may apply to fill the vacated Council Member position by submitting a resume to City Recorder Rhonda Goodrich by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021. Notice of Public Hearing for Roosevelt City Gun Range Project

 Notice is hereby given that the Roosevelt City Council will be conducting a public hearing to receive specific comments on plans to develop a gun range and shooting complex on property owned by Roosevelt City and located in Ballard City. The planned gun range will include long ranges of various distances, a cowboy shooting area, and an archery range. It will be free for public use.

 The hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m. in the Roosevelt City Offices, located at 255 S. State Street. All members of the public are invited to attend. Roosevelt City is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Experience for Airport Planning Services at the Roosevelt Municipal Airport for the purpose of creating of a new Airport Master Plan. SOQs will be accepted until Friday, May 28, 2021 at 5 p.m. and can be submitted to the Roosevelt City Offices, located at 255 S. State Street, Roosevelt, UT 84066.

Notice of Public Hearing for FY2022 Final Budget & FY2021 Budget Reopen

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing has been scheduled to receive specific comments regarding the Roosevelt City Final Budget FY 2021-2022, and to re-open the FY 2020-2021 Budget. The public hearings will be conducted in the City Council Room at the Roosevelt City Municipal Building, 255 South State Street, on June 15, 2021, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
