About
The Roosevelt City Police Department is very proud of our annual Shop With A Cop tradition. Each year in December our dedicated officers take time to serve their community in a different way, and help make the holidays special for local children in need. We are immensely grateful for the support this program receives, and for the opportunity to get to know some of the amazing kids and families in our community.
Donations
If you would like to donate to support our Shop With A Cop program, you can send a check to the Roosevelt Police Department with the memo "Shop With A Cop" to our address listed below. We also have a Venmo account to accept donations, just write, "Shop With A Cop" in the note. Thank you for helping to make the holidays brighter for those in need!

How to Recommend a Family
Children/ Families can be recommended in a variety of ways. RPD takes names from DCFS, local faith leaders, schools, and for the first time this year we are adding a google form option that can be used by community members, or families themselves to request participation. Our goal is to help every family in need, but our funding is limited, so priority will be given to families at or below the federal poverty line, as well as those experiencing undue hardships. If we are unable to serve a family, their names/ information will be provided to the Sub For Santa program.
If you are able to, please use the Google form below, as it makes our review process easier, but a printable version of the form has also been included and may be turned in at the Roosevelt Police Department up until December 12, 2023.
