[ARCHIVED] ROOSEVELT CITY IMPLEMENTS PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES DURING COVID-19

ROOSEVELT CITY COVID-19 PLAN

Roosevelt City officials have worked together to establish an immediate plan for protecting employees and the public during the current outbreak of COVID-19, or coronavirus.

These are initial measures only, and more changes may be implemented. Roosevelt City officials continue to carefully monitor the situation.

CITY SERVICES

  • All city services remain fully active.

  • Members of the public should avoid visiting the city offices unless absolutely necessary. Utility bills can be paid online at www.xpressbillpay.com or via telephone at 435-722-5001.

PUBLIC MEETINGS

  • The city council meeting currently scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, will proceed as planned.

  • The scheduled public hearing regarding changes to Title II of the city code has been CANCELLED. Officials do not feel it is fair to solicit public comment on important issues during a time when many members of the public may be unwilling or unable to be present.

  • For the safety of the elected officials, city staff members, and others, members of the public are encouraged not to attend the meeting in person unless absolutely necessary.

  • The meeting will be streamed live online at www.rooseveltcity.com. We encourage all residents to participate virtually rather than in person.

RECREATION

  • Decisions regarding recreation programs and facilities are pending. More information is coming.
