Memorial Day is almost here!
The Roosevelt City Cemetery staff is currently working on final maintenance in preparation for the holiday. Flowers and other decorations can begin to be placed tomorrow, Friday, May 28.
All decorations and flowers you want to keep must be removed by NO LATER THAN JUNE 6, 2021. Our cemetery staff will begin clean-up as soon as they arrive to work on Monday, June 7. ALL ITEMS LEFT ON GRAVES WILL BE REMOVED AND DISPOSED OF AT THIS TIME. There are no exceptions.
There are no restrictions on decorations. However, please be aware that the cemetery is open to the public and not monitored 24/7. You assume all risk for any items you leave at a gravesite.
The annual American Legion presentation will take place at 12 p.m. on Monday, May 31. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
