Upcoming Work Activities
Our team is currently resurfacing US-40 between the turn off to SR-88 and Vernal. Learn more about this at U.S. Route 40 Paving. Placement of the chip seal surface on SR-121 is expected to begin as early as June 14.
*The schedule is always subject to change due to weather, equipment availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
When road resurfacing on SR-121 starts, you can expect one-way
flagging operations, lane closures, and moderate travel delays
between Main Street and Hancock Road, Monday through Friday, 7
a.m. to 7 p.m.
Expect increased noise, dust, and vibrations during construction, as well as loose gravel on the road. For your safety and the safety of our crews working in the area, please use extra caution, reduce speeds, and follow all posted signs and signals when driving through the work zone.
SR-121 and 300 West Signal Project
As a part of the Statewide Procurement Traffic Signal Installations effort, UDOT has been making improvements to intersections across the state, one of which is located at the SR-121 (200 North) and 300 West intersection in Roosevelt. This signal will be completed and turned on this week. Know before you go. Check UDOT Traffic before hitting the road.
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface approximately 1.5 miles of SR-121 in Roosevelt between Main Street and Hancock Cove Road. This project seeks to preserve the life of the pavement by resurfacing the road with a chip and seal coat overlay. This process will help prevent the deterioration of the road surface over time and improve motorist safety by providing good traction and skid resistance for vehicles.
